Plant your paper 🌱
If you’ve received a stationery item on seed paper, read my guide below on how to plant it to grow your wildflowers.
Mindfully watch as your seedlings bloom!
TIP - Only plant your card in warmer seasons/weather.
Instructions:
1. Pop your paper into a shallow dish and soak with water for 1 hour.
2. Fill your chosen plant pot with soil 3/4 full.
3. Gently tear the moist seed paper and add it to top of the soil.
4. Cover with a LIGHT layer of soil. If in doubt, don’t add any soil on top.
5. Over the next 2 weeks, water the pot but do NOT overwater. Less is more as otherwise the delicate seedlings will rot.
6. Keep your pot in a warm and light environment (e.g. indoor window sill or conservatory).
7. You should see the seeds start to sprout in 5-20 days (yay!)
Be patient as your seedlings sprout into wildflowers.
The mix of British wildflower seeds in the card will include at least four of the below seed types:
Sweet alyssum, poppy, gypsophila, cosmos, basil, rudbeckia.
Before planting, keep in a dry area and use within 2 years while germination rates are still high.

Seeded wildflower card is at the heart of my business, and it is very important to me that your card actually grows!
After a lot of research and trials, I have found my favourite card which has an excellent growth rate: White Rustic.
A lot of my customers opt for the Ivory Lux paper which has a smooth, luxurious feel - however this is a machine finished item meaning a lower chance of seedling growth.
With this in mind, occasionally your card may not play ball. If you are having difficulty getting it to grow, let me know and I will happily send you some White Rustic samples to try again (free of charge).
Just drop an email to hello@belovedcreations.co with your order information/name of person who sent the card!
